Small wooden trial case with hinged lid, brass hinges, keyhole and two revolving disc locks. Brass plate, inscribed, on lid. Purple silk lining to lid. Removable lens rack containing 95 spherical and cylindrical lenses. (Nine gaps). Also empty rack for 17 (prismatic?) lenses.
