Trial Case. Mahogany. Triple-hinged with two sprung white metal clasps. Lock with two keys. Lift-out inner tray. Contains: 35 pairs spherical concave lenses, 21 pairs cylindrical concave lenses, 21 pairs cylindrical convex lenses, 35 pairs spherical convex lenses, 15 prismatic lenses, all with white metal rims with handles. 14 miscellaneous slits, pinholes, occluders, filters and maddox Rod. Also five loose miscellaneous lenses and filters, a pair of red/blue spectacles with grooved W-bridge, split centre joints, straight sides and round eyes. Metal screwdriver with fluted handle. Missing spherometer.
