Figurine of a seated long-nosed optician, made out of steel, with a bronze-painted cap and apron, wearing a pair of spectacles whilst holding another pair of up to the light for inspection. Two other pairs of spectacles, together with assorted components, tools, vice and a polishing wheel rest on the work bench in front of him. Wide round base with manufacturer's stamp on upper surface.
