Double figurine of an optometrist and patient, made out of steel nuts and rods. The bespectacled optometrist, standing, points to a test chart with his left hand holding a stick (fashioned from a 2.5 inch nail), whilst the patient, leaning forwards beside him, peers at the chart through a pair of spectacles.Two further pairs of spectacles rest at the foot of the test chart stand. Round base with manufacturer's plate. American price label on underside of base.
