Ceramic 'Burleigh' ware Toby jug in form of a seated Mr Pickwick, legs astride, his right hand raised in a gesture of surprise, wearing a blue jacket, yellow waistcoat and white breeches. Features both a pair of round eye spectacles worn low on the nose and a monocle on a cord. Handle and spout forming part of chair backrest. Rectangular base. Backstamp under base.
