Pattern microscope. Ivory handle and open cylindrical 'screw-barrel' head containing metal spring, plates and stained ivory aperture but missing the adjustable screw. Four ivory mounted objectives (numbered 1 to 4). Metal slide rack (all apertures empty). Condenser mount missing. Contained in black shagreen-covered cylindrical case. Green velvet lining. Compartments in side and at both ends. Set of ivory-mounted slides stuck in end of case.
