Sample NHS spectacle frame. Dark brown and yellow mottled plastic (imitation tortoiseshell) frame. Bowed and raised regular bridge. Short horizontal lugs. Centre joints, vertically pinned to front and horizontally pinned to sides. Reinforced half-plastic sides with white metal curl side terminals, with end stumps. Semi-round half-eye rims, unglazed. Attached to a strung paper identity tag. Together with an historic cardboard box with separate lid, marked with NHS code and dates of manufacture.
