tortoiseshell; metal; brass; glass

Folding lorgnette. Yellow metal frame. Vertically hinged fenestrated bridge with damaged spring. Short tortoiseshell handle with straight sides, spring release catch and flange to hold in fixed position. Small narrow metal plate inset on one side of handle. Rigid oval suspension loop at foot of handle. Rectangular eye rims, glazed.
