Cartoon excerpted from a Victorian-era American magazine, comprising an advertisement for an optical company, the second in a series, showing an old lady, old man and their doctor seated at a round table, lit from above by Ransom's Patent Illuminated Clock, the old man reading a newspaper with the text 'The King Combination Spectacles can be adjusted to the eyes and are the most durable in use'. Both of the couple praise the spectacles saying they are comfortable and allow the decipherment of fine print. The Doctor, who like them is wearing spectacles, interjects that he had told them so. Printed in black and white on both sides of a single sheet of paper (content of reverse catalogued separately. Bottom left corner clipped.
