Four column article (spread over two pages), excerpted from 'The Bookseller' magazine with text by Herbert Howarth, Director of the National Book League, describing an exhibition of optical reading aids held at their hall in Albemarle St with the assistance of Frederick Bateman & Co. Includes mention of large print, recumbent spectacles and good illumination. Illustrated with a photograph of a man looking at a book through a Britex lens. The name Bateman has been highlighted in pink. Mounted on pages 28-29 of a scrapbook.
