Two-part black and white picture story, excerpted from 'Everywoman' magazine, showing two black and white photographs of four young women, Mollie, Brenda, Pam and Dagmar, shown head and shoulders lined up in a row, wearing a pair of shallow frame plastic spectacles, an upswept 'Columbine' pair of spectacles, a lilac frame with curved rim and a gold-embossed plastic frame respectively, all by Frederick Bateman & Co Ltd. (unstated). The second photograph shows sunglasses, Dagmar wearing a jewelled pair at 35 shillings, Brenda with the elfin look at 45 shillings, Pam wearing a sporty sunshield at 16s 9d and Mollie wearing a gold mounted pair at 27s 6d 'the year's best seller'. Mounted on page 13 of a scrapbook.
