Set of sixty blown glass eye models representing the anterior aspect in a variety of eye diseases, contained within a compartmentalised wooden leather-covered hinged case with two metal clasps, lined in dark blue velvet and silk with the maker's name emblazoned in gold on the lining of the lid. Fifty of the models are labelled and six are damaged. Labelled conditions represented: conical cornea, staphyloma and synechia, pterycium, pannas, phlycten keratitis, dermoid of cornea, abscess of cornea, ulcer of cornea, perforating ulcer, nebula cornea, leucoma cornea, staphyloma cornea, iritis early stage, acute iritis, iritis and synechia, rheumatic iritis, iritis syphilitic, iritis and cumma, serious iritis, iridocyclitis, interstitial keratitis, keratitis punctata, keratitis and synechia, old iritis and occlusion, traumatic cataract, senile cataract, cretaceous cataract, zonular cataract, lead deposit, ecchymosis, hyphoemia, congested conjunctiva, simple conjunctivitis, chronic conjunctivis, catarrh conjunctivitis, phlycten conjunctivitis, phthisis bulbi, melanotic sarcoma, glaucoma simple, glaucoma chronic, glaucoma absolute, hydrophthalmos first stage, hydrophthalmos second stage, hydrophthalmos last stage, episcleritis, ruptured iris, ruptured sclerotic, panophthalmitis, pseudo-clioma and clioma retina.
