20th c. photographic reproduction of a framed Spanish painting of the Patrician John and his wife before Pope Liberius and the founding of Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome, by Murillo (1665) on a spandrel-shaped canvas, commissioned for the church of Santa María Blanca in Seville and now in the Prado, Madrid. Depicts a friar, beside the papal throne, holding nose spectacles to his face. The corners of the later frame include architectural plans of the Basilica Papale di Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome, dated 1813.
