Set of colour photographic slides used by the optometrist John de Carle. Multiple examples mounted in plastic or cardboard, with some loose transparencies. Contained mostly in two wooden slide racks with hinged lid, but with additional slides in an accompanying polythene bag. Features photographs of Mr de Carle demonstrating instruments, eye diagrams, lecture titles, bifocal contact lenses etc., including from the International Contact Lens Conference, but also some that are clearly related to personal foreign travel.
