Portrait print (engraving) of Mrs Norman, shown three-quarter-length seated on a stool, wearing a black dress, lace cap and holding a folding reading glass with (probably) a polished tortoiseshell handle, against an open book. To the right the tower of St Mary's Church, Melton Mowbray is visible through a window. Conservation mounted and glazed in a modern antique-style gilt frame with decorative corners and upper central cartouche.
