Hand-coloured print (etching) depicting a confrontation between a courtesan in a feathered cap and Shute Barrington (Bishop of Durham) wearing a black coat and heavy powdered wig and holding a quizzing glass. Trimmed down from a larger original print which showed the Bishop, together with the Duke of Queensbury being apprehended for watching young women roll down Greenwich hill, a holiday custom. The Bishop protested he was only trying to spot the Durham stagecoach. In a modern antique-style wooden frame with silvered fluting, glazed.
