Hand-coloured print depicting an optics lecture with a table featuring a pair of wig spectacles with ring ends, a telescope, magic lantern, spyglass and four candles. A yokel, in whose pocket is a 'Treatise on Hops', addresses the bespectacled lecturer. In a black and gold wooden frame.
