ivory; rolled gold

135 degree brisé fan. Pierced ivory. Twenty three sticks decorated with figure carvings. Monogram initials FHO spread across 3 centre sections. No handle. Dependent magnifying lens in gold-filled frame. Handle of magnifier consists of two lengths of metal soldered to lens frame and fixed at other end to an axle with jewelled terminals.
